Job Description
  • Position Description

  • The Director of Training and Development, who is responsible for the design, development and implementation of team development, customized coaching and peer-to-peer coaching programs
  • The Director will consult with senior leadership, field management, business development and product areas leaders to design and execute a professional development strategy that is aligned with the overall business and organizational goals

    Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver training programs for the firm's top domain Advisors in the areas of Team Formation, Partnering, Team Development, Team Leadership, and Succession Planning
  • Responsible for training and consulting to high net worth teams Nationally by: Conducting direct on-site training and consulting
  • Presenting and facilitating connection to external training or practice management
  • consultants based on Team needs
  • Partnering with various internal resources to leverage other training opportunities
  • Manage customized training offering to enhance effectiveness and productivity of top domain Advisors and their teams
  • Develop, manage and execute peer-to-peer training for top domain Advisors Organize and build content around various team concepts providing depth and self-learning opportunities
  • Oversee the development and ongoing support of robust online content for the Team & Strategic Partnerships website
  • Align the goals and strategies of the Business Development organization, product teams, and domain Advisors to create and deliver superior content
  • Forge partnerships with Strategic Partnership Directors, FAA Regional Trainers, Diversity, Business Development, and Wealth Management to ensure an efficient and well
  • communicated Team Service Model designed for all levels of team production


    Skills Required

  • Exemplary communication, training and consulting skills required
  • Understanding of and experience with adult learning and teaching techniques
  • Direct and recent experience managing and coaching to team dynamics and development
  • Certified in administering DiSC, Myers-Briggs or other personality assessment tests
  • Accomplished skills in presentation development and delivery as well as strong group facilitation skills
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Ability to influence laterally and vertically
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively engage senior level management teams
  • Ability to understand and communicate concepts quickly and accurately
  • Ability to prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines and work both independently and within a team
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
